Untertitel:
anrechenbar in BEKi 1
DozentIn:
Prof. Dr. Tim Rohrmann
Veranstaltungstyp:
Studium Generale (Lehre)
Beschreibung:
The inclusion of refugees and migrants is a challenge for societies worldwide. Institutions for young children can play an important role in this process. In this module, experiences and concepts from a range of European countries will be discussed. The seminar will also give some insights into the educational systems of these countries.
Students will read and prepare English journal articles for discussion. Main focus will be exchange of ideas and joint discussion, not lecture. Students should have at least a basic knowledge of English. Nevertheless, it is not necessary to speak or read English very well – but you have to spend some time on reading, and should be willing to talk and argue even if you are not sure about the right words for questions and rationales.
The module shall enable participants to deal with scientific articles in English language and encourage participants to seek contact to colleagues in other countries.
